Went the first week Mary's opened and had an excellent time. The long front bar is a classic antique wooden behemoth - perfect for posting up, hanging with friends, or watching a game. Bartenders were cool, professional and friendly. We didn't eat, but the food looks great & high end pub fare. And the back room has a big screen and (are you sitting down?) a working disco ball... I think I'll throw myself a big birthday party there!
We had an early dinner and it was fantastic especially for bar food. We ordered many things on the menu but the highlights were the steak nachos, chicken tacos, wings and burger. We were lucky enough to get ribs off the secret menu which were delish. Friendly service and great music.Kid-friendliness: Super welcoming to our toddler (which is always saying a lot)
As someone who's lived in nyc for 5 years and experienced most types of bars/restaurants/mix of both, Mary's is genuinely one of the best spots to have an amazing meal or drink. The frozen margaritas are so so good. The wings are better than coqodaqs, and the burger is sooooo good! Come
This bar has the best parts of all the best bars, great people, good music, cheap beer and good cocktails. Plus a disco ball!
Really fun place to hang out with friends or by yourself, have some drinks, listen to music, watch sports (if you're into that), etc.. Incredibly friendly staff, great service. Fun rotating mix of frozen drinks.
